High Caliber was involved early in this project as there were pre-lot acquisition questions concerning the proper placement of a home on this beautiful but topographically challenged parcel.
The 2-story Main House is complemented by a finished Terrace Level and a roomy 1-bedroom Apartment above a large 2-car Garage. The style, colors and feel of the home are a combination of the Arts & Crafts period style plus the well-traveled American and British influences the couple brings to the table. The Scottish Pub/Home Office in the Terrace Level is reminiscent of establishments in Carol’s native homeland.
The combination of earthtone HardiePlank and brick on the home are deftly combined with stone accents on the retaining wall as well as on the Front Porch and rear patio.
The home is very much tuned in to the trend towards sustainable dwellings with its geothermal heat pump, solar hot water panels and a power producing full solar array.
